If you are using your own vessel make sure it’s clean. Always start with a clean vase to prevent bacteria growth. Wash it with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.

Every 2-3 days your flowers deserve a little care. Cut about 1-2 inches off the bottom of each stem at an angle. Replace your water with clean water (tap is fine) and make sure all stems are submerged.

Don’t be afraid to pull stuff out that dies first. Look for wilting petals or leaves, and remove any that are turning brown to keep the arrangement looking fresh.

Keep your flowers out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources to prevent wilting. Maintain a cool room temperature for optimal longevity.
